Free claim risk checker
Updated 2026-08-15 · Risk-term list version 2026-08-15c
Paste your listing, script, captions or creator brief and check it line by line against 23 Chinese and 22 English flagged phrasings for shapewear. Every hit comes with a level, a reason, a replacement, and the counterpart in the other language.
No login, no limit, no email. What you paste never leaves your browser — the list and the logic download with the page and run locally. Disconnect after load and it still works.
These are items to check, not a compliance ruling. These risk flags are an assisted check. They are not a compliance ruling and not legal advice — the platform’s review and your own legal judgment decide.
What it does and does not do
- Scans what you wrote: listing copy, voiceover scripts, captions, and the brief you send a creator
- For every match: why it is risky, what to say instead, and where this kind of phrasing usually shows up
- Scans Chinese and English separately, and points to the counterpart term in the other language
- Stamps the list version and date so you know how old the list is
- Does not stand in for platform review and does not predict its outcome — a match or a miss changes nothing about how the platform will rule
- Is not legal advice and does not replace your counsel
- Makes no semantic judgment: a synonym walks straight past it, and no rule engine closes that gap
- Reads text only — not images, not video frames, not audio
- Does not cover every market or category: only shapewear and functional intimates are built out
Method and sources
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| What is scanned | The text you paste, split by line, with the line number reported for each hit. Chinese and English are scanned separately, so mixed copy returns two sets of results. |
| Several SKUs at once | Separate blocks with a line of ---, up to 30. The first line of a block can be its name. You get a summary table first (hits and high-risk count per SKU), then the blocks in order; the downloaded card is segmented the same way. Still zero upload — the splitting happens in your browser. |
| How matching works | Chinese by substring (no word boundaries exist). English by word boundary plus inflection expansion — prevents catches prevent / prevention / preventing / prevented, and cure does not hit secure. Multi-word entries allow spaces, hyphens and underscores. |
| Where the list comes from | Published platform ad policies (verified and listed on the method page), Chinese advertising-law provisions on absolutes and false claims, and phrasings actually found in product copy samples. Not reviewed by a lawyer. |
| List size | 23 Chinese and 22 English terms, 41 of them high risk. Version 2026-08-15c, with a public changelog and a downloadable list under CC BY 4.0. |
| Category scope | Shapewear and functional intimates. Other categories have only a generic absolutes-level profile, so this checker will feel thin outside the beachhead. |
| Data handling | What you paste never leaves your browser. The list and the scanning logic download with the page and run locally — disconnect after load and it still works. No cookies, no third-party scripts, no analytics. |
| Result storage | None. Results exist only in this page and vanish on refresh. The downloaded risk card carries noindex and will not be indexed. |
The order worth scanning in
- Scan ad-facing copy first: voiceover, captions, ad text. These decide whether the ad runs.
- Then the creator brief. Creators say what the brief says and improvise whatever it omits, and the platform reviews the video that went live.
- Then the listing. It decides whether the product stays up, and it is the source everything else was copied from.
- Comment replies last. Easiest to forget, hardest to walk back.
After the scan
Act by level: high risk gets rewritten; needs review depends on the sentence — “a size smaller” in sizing advice is fine, “look a size smaller” is a quantified body-change claim. Every hit links to its full entry.

(The full-plan entry point is not live yet — the product name and hosting are not settled. The link above goes to the public samples so you can see what a complete plan looks like.)
The sign-up slot lives here. When it goes live it asks three things: your category, whether you launched and ran ads in the last 60 days, and how to reach you. There is no form backend yet, so it is empty — we will not ship a form nobody receives.
FAQ
Do I need an account? Is there a limit?
Neither. No login, no quota, no email. There is a basic anti-script throttle (a few dozen checks a minute) that a human will never hit.
Can you see what I paste? Do results get indexed?
Neither. The whole check runs in your browser with no network request — open the network panel to verify, or disconnect after load and watch it keep working. Results exist only in this page and vanish on refresh, and the downloaded card carries noindex. Only samples we curate are indexed; user output is not.
Does a hit mean rejection?
No. A hit means "this sentence is making a promise — take a look". Equally, no hit does not mean safe: a synonym walks past literal matching and does not walk past review.
Why only shapewear?
Narrow and deep is the only shape a small team wins in. Shapewear is the category we built out: the risk here is almost purely about claims, and standard Chinese listing copy translates straight into high-risk English. Other categories will feel thin.
Can it scan my whole store?
It scans several SKUs at once (up to 30), but it does not scan your store. The first means pasting blocks separated by ---, all processed in your browser. The second would require us to crawl your store, which breaks the no-upload promise and is something we explicitly do not do.
Can I integrate the list?
Yes. The list page offers CSV and JSON under CC BY 4.0, commercial use included.
