Choosing a video tool: decide who writes the script first

Updated 2026-08-15 · Risk-term list version 2026-08-15c

All three render video, at prices seven times apart: Symphony is free (TikTok only), Creatify runs about $1.65 a clip, Arcads about $11.

But there is an earlier question: where do the script and the angle come from? Arcads says outright that the input is your own script. Creatify writes one, at generic template level. Symphony uses platform averages. All three leave the same slot empty.

Preshoot does not render video; it fills that slot. Which is why every page below ends with a section on when to pick them instead of us. That section is sincere.

ToolIn one linePricing (provenance on each page)
CreatifyPaste a product URL, batch-render ad variants, push them straight into ad accounts. The closest thing to our own entry point.Free $0 (10 credits ≈ 2 watermarked clips) / Starter $39 / Pro $99, billed in credits; Pro works out to roughly $1.65 per 30-second clip.
ArcadsPaste your own script, pick an AI actor, get a UGC-style spokesperson video. High ticket, per-clip pricing, aimed at media buyers and agencies.Roughly $110 / $220 / $500+ per month, about $11 per clip. No free tier and no free trial.
TikTok SymphonyThe platform’s own creative generation and campaign automation. Free to every TikTok advertiser worldwide since 2026-05.Free. It lives inside Ads Manager with no separate subscription.

The line worth remembering

Creatify is $1.65 a clip, Arcads is $11. Before you render twelve variants, decide what each of the twelve is testing — otherwise you paid twelve times to test one sentence.

FAQ

Are you an alternative to these three?

No. They render video; we do not. If we replace anything, it is the process an ops person re-runs from scratch every time a new SKU lands.

Why publish competitors’ pricing on your own site?

Because the seller is going to compare anyway. Laying out three vendors’ public pricing with provenance and dates is more useful than four content-farm posts, and it is the shape an AI engine can cite.

How often is the pricing updated?

Compiled 2026-08-08, with the date and provenance on the page. We update when it moves, but check their site before you quote it — that is your own money.

What about other tools?

Higgsfield (multi-model aggregation plus community) and HeyGen (enterprise avatar platform) are in the same space, but they serve creators and enterprises rather than cross-border sellers, so they do not get their own comparison page yet.
